Journaling Data Privacy

Entries you write in The Codex are your private property. They are protected with zero-knowledge AES-GCM-256 encryption — encrypted in transit and at rest, and never shared with other members, sold to third parties, or used to train external models. Your private key never crosses the internet; only you can read your own journal.

Reading Session Data

Records of your reading sessions — book titles, authors, focus duration, and margin notes — are stored solely to build your Heritage Textual Twin and seasonal prints. This data is never exposed to advertisers and never leaves your private estate.

Book Club Discussions

Discussions within a Book Guild are visible only to the members of that guild. An absolute privacy firewall ensures The Salon retains no memory of other guilds or of members globally. Scholar notes are generated per guild and discarded outside that context.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for the life of your membership. Scholar members' data is preserved for ninety days after a term lapses, after which it is permanently deleted. Fellowship members' data is retained indefinitely unless requested for removal.

User Rights

You may export, correct, or permanently delete your journal entries, reading records, and letters at any time. Requests for full data export or account deletion are honored within thirty days. You may also designate a generational transferee for your Heritage Twin.

The Estate

The Sanctuary operates at sanctuary.luxernn.com as part of the LUXERNN ecosystem. All data described here resides within your private estate on that domain.
